Thankful

My friend is doing this and I wanted to also. Everyday or every other I am going to post things that I am thankful for. Today I am posting about my sweet husband David. I am so thankful for David's easy going personality. I can honestly say we have never really even raised our voices at each other, we have gotten in disagreements, but we really have never fought. I credit Dave for this, I am more of a fighter, but it is hard to fight with someone who is not. I would have to say that Dave is one of the most thoughtful people I have ever known. When writes a letter to me or to his mom for mother's day, he takes like an hour and really thinks out everything he would like to tell her. Dave is such a great helper. He is always willing to babysit the kids if I need to get out and away for a while and almost always when I get back he has cleaned the house and everything is calm and peaceful. I went to Girl's camp this summer and last and when I got home I expected total chaos, but that is not what I found at all. The kids were happily playing in the back yard with Dave while he did yard work and when I walked into the house, it was spotless. He had cleaned the entire house and even reorganized the toy room. It kind of made me wonder if maybe he would be better staying home with the kids then me. Dave makes me laugh so hard all the time and is always up for my crazy ideas. This morning while he was getting ready for work, we were talking and he started walking around the room doing funny poses and staring off in the distance. I started laughing and said, what the heck are you doing and he said he was being a model. (we had watched the Janice Dickinson Modeling show a few nights before) Anyways, I really could go on, but I will end here. I know I lucked out big time.
