An awkward situation.

So last month I went to make our house payment. There is a guy who works at the bank who looks a lot like one of my favorite actors, Scott Speedman. He played a character named Ben in the show "Felicity" anyways while I was waiting for him to take my payment, I went ahead and told him he looked like Scott Speedman. He did not know who he was and said he would look him up. So another month goes by and yesterday I am back in making our house payment and the same guy helps me and I ask him if he looked him up and apparently he had looked up the wrong guy, so while I am standing there, he googles Scott Speedman. He asks his co-worker sitting next to him what she thinks and this is what she says. " Well you do look like him, but Scott Speedman is more handsome." Scott Speedman look alike says, " oh yah, yah" me sitting there feeling so bad for him and not beleiving how rude his co-worker is and further feeling like my silence is making him feel like I agree with her. SO I say, studering, " that's not true, your totally handsome." This is where an uncomfortable situation gets even more so. Now he thinks maybe I am hitting on him and talks about how he will text his wife and have her look him up. Rude co-worker says, " well now I feel bad, I just think Scott Speedman has dreamier eyes." Scott look alike- " yah, he does." So now we are all wanting out of this situation. I get my receipt and dart away.
