dead tatoe bugs don't like cheese

A week or two ago Taylor brought me a potato bug and some string cheese and he wanted to feed him some lunch. The only problem was it was dead. Tay didn't seem to notice though, and tried to feed the bug cheese and proceeded to care for and talk to the little bug for about an hour. You see I taught the boys by example that we smash and kill bugs, but the boys then did just that, smashed and killed all bugs even the innocent tatoe bugs. I then told them that the tatoe bugs are nice bugs with families and we don't have to kill all bugs, but to definitely terminate every spider they see and that if the devil had a favorite bug, I am sure it is the spider. Taylor then turned into the savior of all tatoe bugs. After about an hour of talking to his new friend, he then sealed the deal and if the tatoe bug wasn't all the way dead, it surely would be after he sang the song and performed the actions with his tatoe bug, "I'm bringing home a baby bumble bee, won't my mommy be so proud of me... I'm smashing up my baby bumble bee" after this he decided he better return the tatoe bug back to his family in the dirt. A proper resting place I think.

OH no! next thing you know he will be pulling the legs off of grasshoppers and making little grasshopper hospitals to try to nurse them back to health. Cute little Tay

I'm making calls today too. If I can get off the blogs, I think I can, I think I can.
