since we are on the subject of tornadoes, I looked up some facts and found this one interesting

Tornado Myth: area near rivers, lakes and mountains are safe from tornadoes
Fact: No place is safe from tornadoes, in the late 1980's a tornado swept through yellowstone National Park leaving a path of destruction up and down a 10,000 ft. mountain

That's true. Remember the tornado in Salt Lake about 9 years ago? It ripped out a bunch of really big trees in memory grove, a saloon and the love knot tree by the temple.
