The Indian Chiefs don't have enough money to heat their homes.

So I have had calls asking for money for Police Officers and calls asking for money for Firemen, but the other day I got a call and was told that the Indian Chiefs do not have enough money to heat their homes. Although I respect and admire the indian nation and when I was twelve I wanted to be an indian or at least marry one after seeing The Last of the Mohicans, I could not bring my self to donate to their cause. It just sounded a little too questionable. A few weeks ago, I bought the paper just because I felt sorry for the boy that was selling it. I have not read it once. Dave told me I should have just given him ten dollars. DO I have a Sucker sign some where I can't see. I am already supporting the chinese with those sudaki-me-saki toxin foot pads I bought off that info mercial a while back, which by the way I don't think they really work. I was scammed. Well I am sorry Indian Chieftons, I can not give you my money.

Way to be strong Nat. I hate all those calls that we get. I always feel so bad when I tell them no, but I tell them that I have my own charities that I dontate to. If it makes you feel better, most of the people who call get the majority of your donation and it doesn't actually go to the cause.Just a little FYI.

You and I alike my dear friend! I usually buy the samples at Costco because I feel guilty for sampling something when they take their time to explain them! SUCKER!!

They called me too. I didn't donate either. I didn't know if I could believe them.

You make me laugh! It's fun to get to know you through your blog! Everytime I read a post I am cracking up! I'm also a sucker for things like this! Thankfully I didn't get sucked in by the Indian Chiefs...Camry thanks you for being a sucker and buying her Easter Eggs! :) ...and regards to your previous post...I can SO see myself doing the same thing! I think people from Argentina should definitely speak Argentinian!! At least all us mom's can laugh at our lack of brain cells! :)

Thanks for the foot pad update. I was wondering how that turned out. As for the poor Indian Chiefs...maybe the YW could tie them some quilts:)

natelli, you made fun of my on denise blog when I didn't understand the pay it forward blog. You didn't really make fun of me so much as i simply felt mocked.

I love this post. Really, they don't have enough money to heat their homes? And what do those dang police and fireman want?

Indian Chiefs? You've got to admit that was cleverly creative. I am right there with you. I got a red light ticket that was totally bogus the other week and when the police officers called for money...I told them they just had a huge "donation" that should make up for the next couple of years. They were dumbfounded they just said thank you and hung up. Ha. Ha.
