Name-sake (Ifeel like I spelled that wrong)

So I was talking to a friend who I had not talked to for a while and she wanted to know about the baby and what we named him. I told her we almost named him Max ( I kinda still wish I had named him Max-oh well maybe the next one will be Max - oh wait next time it will be a girl...Maxine? ....no way, bad idea.) Then when I was in labor all I could think of were all of the Dogs I knew named Max. I had a dog named Max. He was hit by a car on my sister's 13th B-day. Very tragic day. anyways, think about all the dogs named Max, the dog in the little mermaid, the dog in the grinch, I just heard some show talking about the # 1 name for a dog...Max. So we went to the second name on the list. Dave's 1st choice, Jared. I think Jared is a fine name and am growing more fond of it everyday. I started telling my friend the story behind all of my boy's names. Taylor was my maiden name, Logan, well my husband and I met in Logan and were married in the Logan Temple. Jared...named after Dave's cabbage patch kid. Yeah what are we gonna tell the poor kid. We can't tell him that. I guess it would make sense that it will be harder as we have more kids and names to come up with special stories of the inspiration we felt to name them the name we did. Oh well I guess it could have been worse, Dave's little brother Mike named his cabbage Patch kid, Shokey (like shaukee). It is a good thing Dave never looks at my blog, he probably would not like me to share with everyone that he had a cabbage patch. We still have Jared-the cabbage patch.
